Monguno Launches REHACMA to Empower Nigerian Youth

On Thursday, in Abuja, the Senate Chief Whip, Muham Tahir Monguno, officially launched the REHACMA initiative, which aims to combat violence and drug abuse among Nigerian youth. He emphasized the importance of youth as vital stakeholders in shaping the nation's future and encouraged them to engage constructively in politics rather than resorting to violence.

Monguno, who chairs the occasion, highlighted the passage of the electoral bill and the student loan bill by the National Assembly to facilitate youth participation in governance. He praised REHACMA for providing a platform for youth to articulate their interests and concerns.

Dayo Israel, the APC National Youth Leader, supported this call for active youth participation in politics, while Osawemwenhio Uwagbo, the REHACMA National Coordinator, stressed the need for a structured avenue for youth engagement. This initiative is part of President Bola Tinubu's Renew Hope Agenda, which seeks to mainstream youth in governance and ensure their voices are heard in national development.
