Over 360,000 Disqualified in Nigeria's Paramilitary Recruitment

The Civil Defence Corps (CDC) announced that 360,923 applicants were disqualified from the ongoing nationwide paramilitary recruitment process, which attracted 1,120,491 applicants. The recruitment process included agencies such as the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and the Federal Fire Service.

Out of the total applicants, 432,935 were incomplete, while 221,996 candidates scored between 0-40, 229,155 scored between 41-60, 278,543 scored between 61-80, and 142,697 scored between 81-100 in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The next phase of the recruitment will involve physical screening and document verification, with shortlisted candidates expected to receive official notifications outlining the screening venue and required documents.

The board emphasized that the entire recruitment process is free of charge and urged applicants to rely on official communication channels for updates, warning against misinformation from unofficial sources.
