Nigeria's NFF Names Éric Chelle as Super Eagles Head Coach

Nigeria's Football Federation (NFF) has announced the appointment of Éric Chelle as the new head coach of the Super Eagles, the country's senior men's national football team. Chelle, a former coach of Mali's national team, will lead the Super Eagles in their quest to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The decision was made by the NFF's Technical Development Subcommittee and endorsed by the Executive Committee. Chelle's coaching experience includes stints with clubs in Mali and France.

His immediate task is to guide the Super Eagles through the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches in March.
