Konga Urges Davido to Support Music Legends Instead

Veteran singer Konga expressed his disappointment regarding the lack of support from current Nigerian artists towards music legends during a recent episode of the podcast "Don’t Lie." He specifically criticized Davido for not donating ₦200 million to struggling artists such as Baba Fryo and Daddy Showkey, suggesting that this money would have been better spent revitalizing the careers of these music legends rather than being donated to an orphanage. Konga emphasized the importance of humility among Nigerian artists and urged them to recognize and support their predecessors in the industry.

He lamented that many legends are forced to take menial jobs abroad due to the lack of recognition and support from the current generation of artists.
