Etsu Nupe Mourns Busu Village Head Alhaji Adamu Zubairu

Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe and chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, mourned the passing of Alhaji Adamu Zubairu, the village head of Busu in the Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State. Abubakar described Zubairu as a royal father and a communal leader whose death is a painful loss not only for the people of Busu but for the entire Nupe kingdom.

He noted that Zubairu served the community with dedication, wisdom, and a deep sense of responsibility, contributing significantly to peace, unity, and grassroots development in Busu and its surroundings. The Etsu Nupe emphasized that the late village head demonstrated a remarkable commitment to the well-being of the people and was a custodian of the customs and traditions of the Nupe people throughout his life.

His death has created a vacuum in the traditional leadership structure of Busu. Abubakar urged the family of the deceased and the people of Busu to find solace in the impact Zubairu had on their lives and to honor his legacy.

He prayed for Allah's forgiveness for the deceased and for the family to bear the loss with fortitude.
