Iorfa Receives Award for Football Administration Excellence

Iorfa, a renowned figure in Nigerian football administration, was honored with an award for excellence in football administration by the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi Sule, on February 16 during the Nasarawa State Governor's Cup final held at Lafia City Stadium. Iorfa's illustrious playing career transitioned into a significant administrative role in Nigerian football, where he has been influential since 1999.

He has managed Lobi Stars FC and served as a coordinator for the U-20 national team, as well as holding positions on the NFF board and as general manager of Remo Stars FC. His efforts have transformed Barau FC from relegation struggles to a formidable team in the NPFL.

Expressing gratitude for the recognition, Iorfa dedicated the award to God, his family, and the Nigerian football fraternity, emphasizing the challenges faced in football and the motivation the award provides to continue his service.
