Gift Orban Matches Osimhen’s Goals with Hat-trick

Gift Orban, a striker for Amedspor, scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 victory against Istanbul Başakşehir on Sunday night at the Seyrantepe Spor Kompleksi Stadyumu. Orban's goals came in the second half, starting with a header from Furkan Soyalp’s cross seven minutes after the restart.

He then scored again two minutes later, finishing a counter-attack with a close-range shot from an Ermal Krasniqi layoff. Orban completed his hat-trick with another goal from Krasniqi's pass with fifteen minutes remaining.

This performance brought his season tally to six goals, matching Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, who has also scored six goals but has two assists in four appearances before suffering a hamstring injury. Orban, who joined Amedspor on loan during the summer transfer window, has established himself as one of the league's top forwards and is looking to earn a recall to the Super Eagles for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau.
