I’m fit – Akpabio finally returns from London, makes promise to Nigerians

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has returned to Nigeria from a short vacation in London, promising robust legislative engagement as the Senate resumes recess. Akpabio arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 4 am, dispelling rumors of being critically ill or hospitalized in London.

He described the reports as mere imagination and confirmed that he is fit and well. Akpabio had attended the sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva, Switzerland, before proceeding to the UK.

During the conference, he played a significant role in advocating for deeper democratic governance and better synergy between government arms. His return signals a renewed commitment to his legislative duties and engagement with Nigerians.
