ISWAP and Boko Haram Clash in Borno, 18 Women Captured

On April 28, at approximately 3:41 PM, a violent confrontation erupted between two rival terrorist factions, ISWAP (Islamic State West Africa Province) and Boko Haram, in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State. According to security sources, the clash took place in a location identified as Marka.

The conflict resulted in ISWAP fighters capturing 18 women who are spouses of Boko Haram members. This internal conflict is expected to further weaken coordination among the terrorist groups operating in the area.
