Kwankwaso's Aides Deny Hospitalization Rumors, Clarify Reason for Travel Abroad

Former Kano State Governor Kwankwaso's aides have refuted rumors circulating on social media that he was hospitalized abroad. The aides clarified that Kwankwaso traveled outside Nigeria for personal reasons and not for medical treatment, as speculated.

Mansur Kurugu, a spokesperson for the Kwankwasiyya movement, emphasized that the reports were false and described them as the work of political detractors. Saifullahi Hassan, another aide to Kwankwaso, dismissed the claims and insisted that they were aimed at misleading the public.

Hassan highlighted that Kwankwaso had been actively involved in public activities in Kano before his departure. Kwankwaso, who is also the national leader of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), was reported to have visited markets in Kano to commiserate with traders affected by a recent fire outbreak.

The aides' statements aimed to quash the misinformation and maintain transparency regarding Kwankwaso's travel.
