Gombe Police Deny Fire Incident at ADC Chairman's House

The Gombe State Police Command issued a statement on Thursday, categorically denying reports circulating on social media about a fire incident at the residence of Nafiu Bala, the factional chairman of the African Democratic Congress. DSP Buhari Abdullahi, the command's public relations officer, confirmed that there were no records of any fire incident in Gombe State.

He described the circulating information as false and misleading. The Commissioner of Police for Gombe State, Umar Ahmad Chuso, urged the public to disregard the misinformation and remain calm.

He assured residents that the police are committed to maintaining peace and security throughout the state. The statement emphasized the importance of public awareness regarding false reports that could incite unrest.
