Enyimba FC Withdraws from Deal to Sign Ekiti United Defender Emeka Peter

Enyimba FC has decided to pull out of a deal to acquire defender Emeka Peter from Ekiti United in the Nigerian National League (NNL) reportedly due to valuation issues. Ekiti United's demands were deemed excessive by the nine-time NPFL champions, Enyimba.

The club is focused on enhancing the quality of its squad for the latter part of the NPFL season. Enyimba recently secured the services of midfielder Adekunle Moje Seyi Adegbit from NNL side Crown FC.
