Kaduna Agency Boss Praises Governor Sani on Democracy Day

Abdullahi Ahmad, the Managing Director of the Kaduna State Road Agency, issued a statement on Friday commemorating June 12, 2026, as Nigeria's Democracy Day. He described Governor Uba Sani as a symbol of democratic ideals, reflecting the values of justice, accountability, and inclusivity in governance.

Ahmad noted that June 12 remains a defining moment in Nigeria's democratic journey, reminding citizens of the sacrifices made for constitutional rule and fundamental rights. He emphasized that Governor Sani's leadership demonstrates a commitment to the principles that inspired the June 12 struggle.

Ahmad commended the governor's efforts in infrastructure development, particularly in road construction to connect rural communities and improve livelihoods. He urged Nigerians to continue supporting democratic institutions and reaffirmed the agency's commitment to supporting the administration's vision for economic growth and sustainable infrastructure improvements.

The statement also honored late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, widely regarded as the winner of the annulled June 12, 1993 presidential election.
