Alada Nominated as NPC Commissioner by President Tinubu

Dr. Isiaka Yahaya Alada has been nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to serve as a commissioner for the National Population Commission (NPC), pending Senate confirmation.

The Third Estate, along with the Ilorin Emir, expressed their congratulations and confidence in Alada's capabilities, highlighting his extensive experience in public service. Alada, a former General Secretary of the Third Estate, has built a distinguished career marked by his commitment to public service and administrative excellence.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University (1986), a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan (1987), and a PhD in Political Science from an unspecified institution (2002). His career includes roles as Director of Public Affairs at the NPC and part-time lecturer at the National Open University of Nigeria.

He has also contributed to various international bodies, including the European Union's electoral observation missions. The Third Estate emphasized Alada's dedication and urged the Senate to confirm his appointment.
