Tinubu's Government Provides $100,000 Reward for Super Falcons and D'Tigress Teams

The Chairman of the Nation Sport Commission, Shehu Dikko, confirmed that President Bola Tinubu's government has approved a $100,000 reward for the Super Falcons and D'Tigress teams. The reward includes cash equivalent to $100,000 and housing benefits for the players and technical crew.

The reward was pledged after the Super Falcons won the WAFCON title in Morocco. However, the Falcon's captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, mentioned that the promises made by Tinubu are yet to be fulfilled, including match bonuses.

The announcement was made during a ceremony in Morocco, emphasizing the government's commitment to athletes' welfare.
