Gospel Singer Alayo Melody Reveals Why Bunmi Akinnaanu Couldn't Be Flown to India for Treatment

Gospel singer Alayo Melody disclosed the reasons why plans to fly her colleague, the late Bunmi Akinnaanu, to India for medical treatment were halted. Alayo explained that Bunmi was too weak to fly, visa applications were done three times but not approved, and doctors had declared her unfit to travel.

Bunmi Akinnaanu, known for her hit song "Omije Ojumi," passed away on January 12 in Lagos at the age of 46. She transitioned from a banking career to focus on gospel music full-time.
