Tottenham Hotspur Edges Chelsea 2-1 in Sydney Friendly

In a pre-season friendly held on Saturday at Stadium Australia in Sydney, 10-man Tottenham Hotspur triumphed over London rivals Chelsea with a score of 2-1. Brazil striker Richarlison netted a dramatic 90th-minute winner after Sandro Tonali had given Spurs the lead in the 19th minute with a deflected shot.

Chelsea's Estevao quickly equalized just two minutes later. Tottenham's Kevin Danso was sent off with a straight red card shortly after halftime for a foul on Joao Pedro, allowing Chelsea to dominate the second half.

Despite their numerical advantage and several chances, including a shot that hit the crossbar, Chelsea could not convert their opportunities. The defeat marks the first for new Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso, who previously secured a 6-4 victory over Western Sydney Wanderers.

Chelsea's preparations continue as they head to Hong Kong for a match against Juventus.
