Plus234Feed runs an MCP server: thirteen tools over Nigeria's news archive, its stock exchange, its official statistics and its National Assembly. Ask a question in Claude or Cursor and it answers from the data, with sources you can open.

News archive

~177,000 published articles, effectively all from 2025–2026. Semantic search runs on pgvector embeddings, so a question finds relevant reporting even when it shares no keywords with it.

How it runs

The server speaks MCP over stdio — your client launches it as a local process, so your queries and credentials never leave your machine. It is built in TypeScript on the official MCP SDK, and reads the same Postgres functions that rank the website, which means a ranking change reaches the site and the assistant together.

It is not on npm yet. Approved users get the build and a scoped set of credentials — publishing it, and standing up a hosted endpoint for clients that cannot spawn a local process, are both things we will do when someone needs them.
