14 Candidates Pass Federal Permanent Secretary Exam Stage

The Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) has announced the results of the written examination for candidates seeking appointment as Permanent Secretaries. Out of 25 participants, 14 candidates successfully passed the first stage and will advance to the next phase.

This next stage will involve an assessment of candidates' information and communication technology (ICT) proficiency, scheduled for February 25, 2026. The assessment aims to measure candidates' digital skills, which are essential for effective leadership and management in a technology-driven public service environment.

Mr. Oon Mni, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, emphasized that the examination process was conducted fairly and competitively, reflecting the Federal Government's ongoing reforms to strengthen public service and promote professionalism.

The selection process is merit-based, designed to identify candidates with proven competence and strategic vision to lead the federal civil service.
