China Approves 15th Five-Year Plan for Modernization

The 15th five-year plan of China, covering the period from 2026 to 2030, has been approved during the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress. This plan, conceived to ensure a stronger foundation for achieving socialist modernization by 2035, was emphasized by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The plan aims to tackle deep-seated economic issues and promote high-quality development through innovation and industrial transformation. It focuses on building a modern industrial system, enhancing research capabilities, and fostering emerging industries.
