Air Peace Expands to London Heathrow, Minister Keyamo Leads Inaugural Flight

Air Peace has extended its operations to London Heathrow after initially starting flights to London Gatwick 19 months ago. Minister Festus Keyamo spearheaded the inaugural flight, emphasizing the importance of securing slots at Heathrow, the UK's busiest airport.

Air Peace's Chairman, Allen Onyema, praised Keyamo's intervention and highlighted the government's support for local carriers. The flight's success is attributed to a clear mandate from President Bola Tinubu to boost and sustain competition in Nigeria's aviation sector.
