2025 By-Election: Tinubu Sends Strong Message to Opposition Parties as APC Wins 12 Seats

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) for winning 12 out of 16 seats in the 2025 by-election. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) handled the election, which was largely peaceful and devoid of violence.

Tinubu commended the newly elected National Chairman and emphasized the importance of fair competition and respect for democratic values. The APC also secured victories in Kano, with Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru Abubakar voting for the party.
