FIFA Sets Deadlines for 2026 World Cup Squad Submissions

FIFA has announced important deadlines for the submission of squad lists for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Countries are required to submit their provisional squad lists, consisting of up to 55 players, by May 11, 2026.

This provisional list is intended to accommodate potential injuries, form changes, or unforeseen circumstances leading up to the tournament. Following this, teams must finalize their squads, trimming the provisional list to 26 players, by May 30, 2026.
