2027: Abia APC Will Not Receive Otti – Stakeholders

Stakeholders in Abia State's Progressives Congress (APC) have ruled out the possibility of Governor Alex Otti joining the party ahead of the 2027 general election. The Abia Best Interest Association, a key stakeholder group, expressed concerns about the risks of accepting Otti into the APC, as they believe he may be undermining President Bola Tinubu.

The group highlighted the poor state of infrastructure and education in Abia, despite a significant budget allocation. They criticized the government for questionable expenditures, such as including teacher recruitment and chalk purchases in the capital project budget.

The stakeholders called for accountability and transparency in government spending, warning against allowing the future of Abia's children to be jeopardized by inflated or dubious expenses.
