ADC Confirms Plans for 2027 Presidential Candidate

Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), announced the party's intention to present a credible presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections. He dismissed rumors suggesting that the party might face legal challenges that would prevent it from fielding candidates, labeling such claims as unfounded and designed to create confusion.

Abdullahi emphasized that the ADC remains focused on its mission to provide an alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which he criticized for leading Nigeria into a state of insecurity and economic hardship. He urged Nigerians to disregard speculation about the party's ability to contest the elections, asserting that the ADC is fully compliant with electoral laws and is actively preparing for the elections.

Abdullahi also highlighted the party's commitment to mobilizing dissatisfied Nigerians to build the necessary structures for a successful campaign in 2027.
