APC and APGA Clash Over Political Alliance in Anambra

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) are in conflict regarding the "progressives working together" slogan linked to Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo. APC Deputy National Chairman (South) Ben Nwoye dismissed the claim of collaboration between the two parties as a fallacy, urging APC supporters to reject APGA's narrative.

Nwoye made these remarks during a stakeholders' meeting in Awka, emphasizing the APC's commitment to winning the 2027 elections, including support for President Bola Tinubu. Uche Ekwunife, the APC senatorial candidate for Anambra Central and South-East Zonal Director of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, echoed Nwoye's sentiments, urging party loyalty to Tinubu.

In contrast, APGA Publicity Secretary Ejimofor Opara defended the "progressives working together" stance, asserting that APGA's endorsement of Tinubu as its presidential candidate for 2027 is genuine and indicative of their commitment to collaboration while maintaining their political identity.
