Alabi: Atiku, Obi Can't Match Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Akin Alabi, a member of the House of Representatives representing Egbeda Ona Ara Federal Constituency and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra Governor Peter Obi are "confused politicians" who lack a solid grasp of Nigeria's economy. Speaking during the launch of a grassroots support group named "Friend Akin Alabi" in Ibadan, Oyo State, on a Saturday, Alabi claimed that neither Atiku nor Obi could perform better than the current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential elections.

He emphasized that both candidates do not understand economic policies, including micro and macroeconomic strategies. Alabi criticized their potential campaign strategies, suggesting they would not address critical issues effectively.

He expressed confidence that Tinubu's economic restructuring efforts, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the floating of the naira, would be beneficial for Nigeria's economy.
