Awori Group Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Presidential Bid

The Awori Welfare Association Nigeria publicly declared its support for Bola Tinubu's re-election bid for the presidency in the 2027 general elections. This endorsement also extends to gubernatorial aspirants Obafemi Hamzat for Lagos and Solomon Adeola for Ogun State.

The announcement was made in a statement issued on Thursday, following a meeting convened on Tuesday by Alhaji Semiu Yusuf Jafojo and Adeniyi Jafojo. The decision was reached after extensive consultations with stakeholders across 20 local government areas where the Awori community is located in Lagos and Ogun State.

Alhaji Semiu Yusuf Jafojo emphasized that the group’s support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates is not merely verbal but is aimed at providing immediate solutions without undermining the future of the community.
