Benue APC Stakeholders Back Alia and Tinubu for 2027

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, under the Concerned Benue APC Stakeholders and Strategic Alliance, have publicly declared their support for the re-election of Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. This announcement was made during a press conference in Abuja, led by the group's convener and spokesman, Dr Dominic Alancha, on Thursday.

Alancha noted that the group had previously opposed Alia’s re-election due to "convenient interest and other factors," but has now shifted its stance for the sake of party unity. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing the collective interest of the APC over personal ambitions.

The group warned against actions that could undermine the party's electoral prospects and called for grievances to be addressed through the party's established procedures. They also expressed confidence in Alia's administration as a basis for his re-election and pledged to mobilize support across the state for both Alia and Tinubu.
