Jonathan and Obi Strategize for 2027 Election, Promising Unity

Former President Goodluck Jonathan and ex-presidential candidate Peter Obi held a meeting to discuss strategies for the 2027 presidential election. The meeting, which took place on Thursday, focused on forming a unified front for the upcoming election.

Dr. Yunusa Tanko, the National Coordinator of OBIdient Movement, confirmed the meeting, emphasizing Jonathan's respected statesmanship and Obi's suitability as a candidate.

Tanko alleged that some politicians were plotting to use Jonathan and Obi for their own agenda, but the OBIdient Movement vowed to prevent this. Many Nigerians believe the next president should come from the South, with Peter Obi being seen as an ideal candidate from the South-East.
