Ex-Minister Criticizes Tinubu and APC Ahead of 2027 Election

In a recent interview, Solomon Dalung, a former Minister of Sports under President Buhari, expressed doubts about Bola Tinubu's leadership skills and the APC's ability to govern effectively at the national level. Dalung compared Tinubu to past political leaders, suggesting that Tinubu may not possess the same qualities.

He also mentioned the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a potential challenger to Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. In response to Dalung's comments, various figures like Aina Olushola Olaoluwa and Bankole Makinde criticized his views.

Notably, Tinubu had previously called for governors to implement local government autonomy, emphasizing this at an APC meeting. The Supreme Court's role in enforcing this autonomy was also highlighted.
