APGA's Danjuma Usman Shiddi Launches Campaign Council

Danjuma Usman Shiddi, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Taraba state, unveiled his campaign council in Jalingo in preparation for the 2027 governorship election. He called on party supporters to actively engage in the APGA campaign and coordinate grassroots mobilization across the 16 local government areas of Taraba state.

Prof. Ambrose A. Zemba was appointed as the director-general of the campaign council, while Mr. Samaila Yakubu, known as Young JP, serves as the deputy director-general for the Southern zone.

Other key appointments include Mr. Umaru Emmanuel as director of Communications and Strategy, Mr. Almajiri Leonard Wilson as director of Youth Mobilisation and Strategy, and Hanifatu Sani as director of Women Mobilisation and Support Groups. Abubakar Umar Sunkan is the director of Mobilisation and Support Groups, and Onuorah Peter, known as Chesco Federal, is the Director of Resident Communities Mobilisation and Support Groups.

Yakubu Andesiunde serves as the director of Legal Services, and Hon. Salamatu Abubakar is the director of Grassroots Women Mobilisation, Religious and Community Leaders. Kabiru Muhammad Shuaibu was appointed deputy director-general for the central zone.

Shiddi emphasized the importance of teamwork and commitment to effective grassroots mobilization.
