Atiku's ADC Coalition Key for Nigeria's 2027 Elections, Says Activist

In a recent development, Usman Okai Austin, a prominent political activist and youth leader, has highlighted the significance of Atiku Abubakar's African Democratic Congress (ADC) Coalition in shaping Nigeria's democratic future ahead of the 2027 general elections. Okai emphasized the urgent need for a strong opposition coalition to challenge the ruling party, citing unresolved internal crises within the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

He praised Atiku's political experience and commitment to strengthening Nigeria's democratic institutions. Meanwhile, the Omoluabi Coalition has called for Atiku to withdraw from the 2027 presidential race, alleging that his candidacy could weaken the opposition.

Olumide Obayemi and Baba Ahmed, representing the coalition, stressed the importance of democratic principles and the need for strategic decision-making in Nigerian politics.
