Iyare Urges Electoral Officers to Transmit Results in 2027

Comrade Kennedi Iyare, during the launch of the Fixnass 2027 youth empowerment program in Benin City, Edo State, stressed the importance of electoral officers transmitting election results to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) IReV before leaving polling booths. He argued that this practice is essential for ensuring credible elections in 2027.

Iyare lamented the pervasive issues of poverty in Nigeria, attributing the challenges faced by the youth to the failures of leadership. He criticized politicians for exploiting the poor and emphasized the need for youth to take a stand against electoral malpractices.

Iyare also highlighted the necessity of real-time electronic transmission of election results, which was made mandatory by the 10th Assembly, to address the problems of electoral rigging and ensure transparency in the electoral process.
