Adeleke Urges Osun Residents to Defend Their Votes

On Friday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke called on voters in the state to actively participate in the upcoming governorship election by voting and defending their votes. This statement was made during visits to the palaces of Ajalaye of Ipetu-Ijesha and Elegboro of Ijebu Ijesha, where he sought support for his re-election campaign alongside his cousin, Afrobeats star David Adeleke, also known as Davido.

Accompanied by leaders of the Imole Campaign Council, Adeleke urged Osun voters to assert their constitutional rights, declaring that “no force can deny Osun voters their democratic rights.” He reiterated Davido's call for residents to vote and protect their votes, emphasizing that free and fair elections are fundamental rights. At the palace of Ajalaye of Ipetu-Ijesha, Oba Adeleke Oke praised Adeleke's performance over the past four years and assured support for the Accord team in the election scheduled for August 15.

Adeleke encouraged the people to mobilize for good governance and assured them of their security.
