Gambo Advocates for Tompolo, Asari as Running Mates

Alh. Hussaini Gambo Nakura, the chairman of the Adamawa Concern Citizens, has suggested that presidential candidates for the 2027 elections should consider selecting either Tompolo or Asari Dokubo from the Niger Delta as their running mates.

This recommendation was made during an interview with journalists in Yola over the weekend. Gambo emphasized that choosing a running mate from the Niger Delta could strengthen alliances and improve the chances of defeating Bola Tinubu in the upcoming elections.

He noted that both Tompolo and Dokubo have made significant contributions to national stability and development, particularly in the context of the Niger Delta's economic situation. Gambo also criticized the portrayal of Peter Obi on social media, suggesting that it misleads the public regarding his electoral viability.

He referenced the voting patterns from the last elections, indicating that Obi's influence was primarily religious rather than based on credible national leadership. Gambo cited former President Goodluck Jonathan as an example of someone who rose from local government chairman to president.
