ADC Urges Peter Obi to Wait Until 2027 for Coalition Involvement Amid Zoning Concerns

The African Democrat Congress (ADC) has advised Peter Obi to wait until 2027 if zoning is a condition for his involvement in the coalition, acknowledging his political leadership but emphasizing the need to resolve fundamental issues for a credible alliance. Obi, a former Anambra State governor, expressed concerns about the stability of the ADC-led coalition due to unresolved issues, despite his denial of granting an interview.

ADC spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi stressed the party's focus on proving itself as a credible alternative to the current political establishment and highlighted Obi's potential contribution. The Labour Party (LP) also expressed interest in Obi's participation in reshaping Nigerian politics.
