Malaolu Urges Caution on Atiku-Sule Meeting Speculation

Akin Malaolu, a public affairs analyst and member of the Yoruba Ronu Leadership Forum (YRLF), addressed the speculation surrounding a purported secret meeting between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule in Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that these claims should be regarded as mere speculation, particularly in light of the upcoming 2027 presidential elections.

Malaolu cautioned against amplifying allegations of a political alliance or financial commitments without substantial evidence. He noted that while such narratives often emerge as political cycles gain momentum, it is crucial to distinguish between confirmed facts and unsubstantiated claims.

He highlighted the absence of corroborating documents or independent sources to validate the meeting, urging the media and the public to approach such reports with skepticism.
