Ex-President Jonathan Ineligible for 2027 Presidency, SAN Affirms

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Jibrin Okutepa SAN, has stated that former President Goodluck Jonathan is ineligible to contest the 2027 presidential election due to constitutional limitations. Okutepa highlighted that the 1999 Constitution restricts a president from serving more than 8 years in office, and Jonathan has already completed 6 years as president.
