Kogi PDP Mobilizes Support for Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan

Salami Etudaiye, the Director-General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign for the 2027 election in Kogi Central, initiated a voter mobilization effort in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State for the re-election of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. This mobilization began on Thursday, featuring a solidarity road walk involving PDP supporters, including youths and women, to rally support for Akpoti-Uduaghan and other party candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Etudaiye stated that the mobilization reflects the party's growing grassroots strength in Kogi Central, which includes Adavi, Ajaokuta, Okehi, Okene, and Ogori-Magongo local government areas. He emphasized that Akpoti-Uduaghan's first tenure allowed voters to evaluate her performance and that a second term would enhance her legislative representation and socio-economic programs for the district.

Etudaiye urged voters to prioritize long-term interests over political sentiments. Bashir Haroon, a PDP stalwart, noted the turnout as a sign of confidence in Akpoti-Uduaghan and the party.
