Seyi Makinde Engages Nasarawa Stakeholders for 2027 Campaign

Engr. Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State and presidential candidate of the Action Peoples’ Movement (APM), visited Nasarawa State to rally support from key stakeholders in the North Central geopolitical zone. His arrival on Sunday was part of the preparations for the formal flag-off of the party's presidential campaign scheduled for Lafia on Monday.

Makinde was welcomed by a large crowd in Akwanga Local Government Area, accompanied by the party's governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo. During his visit, he is set to hold a town hall meeting in Lafia and unveil his campaign structure to enhance political mobilization.

An associate of Onawo mentioned that the APM's “Reset Nigeria Agenda” aims to reform Nigeria's socio-economic framework, asserting that Makinde possesses the necessary capacity and credentials to lead the country. Last week, he outlined his agenda, promising reforms in various sectors, including the economy, education, security, and governance.
