NDP Names Ada Fredrick as Female Presidential Candidate

The Nation Democrat Party (NDP) has unveiled Ada Fredrick as its female presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections. During a press conference in Abuja, Dr.

Emeka Wachuku, the party's national public secretary, expressed confidence in Fredrick's capabilities as a grassroots politician and her potential to secure major victories in the polls. Fredrick emerged as the party's standard bearer following a consensus during primaries held across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

She is recognized for her strong leadership qualities and dedication to national renewal. The NDP aims to address key areas such as infrastructure, job creation, and economic transformation by utilizing Nigeria's natural resources effectively.

Fredrick emphasized the importance of empathetic leadership and called on Nigerian women and youth to join her cause. David Orog, a member of the House of Representatives, praised Fredrick's grassroots mobilization skills and urged support for her candidacy.
