NDC Leaders Unite for 2027 Election Campaign Strategy

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is actively working to create a united campaign front for the 2027 elections, led by its presidential candidate Peter Obi, running mate Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and National Leader Senator Henry Seriake Dickson. A recent high-level meeting at Dickson's Abuja residence included Obi, Kwankwaso, NDC National Chairman Senator Moses Cleopas Zuwoghe, and other senior officials.

This meeting followed previous consultations, highlighting the urgency to consolidate the party's campaign structure. The NDC has instructed its candidates nationwide to begin campaigning in line with the Independent National Electoral Commission's timetable.

Dickson has called for unity among party members, urging them to set aside differences for collective electoral success. The proposed campaign council is central to the NDC's strategy, aiming to harmonize campaign activities across various levels as the 2027 elections approach.
