PDP's Nwulu Blames Uzodimma for Ohaji/Egbema Neglect

Comrade John Nwulu, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly candidate for Ohaji/Egbema State Constituency in the 2027 elections, accused the Imo State Government, led by Governor Hope Uzodimma, of abandoning the local community since his administration began. During a media interaction in Owerri, Nwulu expressed concerns over the poor treatment of the oil-producing local government area, which had previously supported Uzodimma in the governorship election.

He highlighted the lack of motorable roads, electricity, and functional projects, describing the situation as an “abysmal failure” by the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both state and local levels. Nwulu noted that Ohaji/Egbema currently lacks a serving commissioner and criticized the appointment of the Managing Director of ISOPADEC, which he claimed was given to someone from a non-oil-producing area.

He pledged to improve infrastructure, create jobs, and ensure the community benefits from ISOPADEC and Adapalm funds if elected.
