PIG Predicts Tinubu's Victory in Kano for 2027 Elections

Media analyst Abdulmalik Suleiman stated that the leadership of Kano State Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has received validation from a recent projection by the Political Intelligence Group (PIG), publishers of Politico.ng. The projection, released two weeks ago, indicates that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is likely to win Kano, which has over 5.9 million registered voters, making it a crucial battleground in presidential elections.

Suleiman noted that political observers attribute this prediction to Governor Yusuf’s inclusive governance and grassroots mobilization across all 44 local government areas in Kano. The governor has been recognized for his achievements in various sectors, including road construction, education, security, and urban renewal, and is respected beyond his party, the APC.

Residents reportedly favor continuity under Yusuf’s leadership, which they believe will aid Tinubu's chances in the upcoming elections, as reflected in a recent defection rally.
