Women of Influence for Tinubu 2027 Launches Support Campaign

The Women of Influence for Tinubu 2027 has launched a nationwide mobilization effort to garner support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The initiative, led by National Convener Hauwa Farouk Ibrahim, aims to unite women from various professions and backgrounds across Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

During a press conference in Kano State, Ibrahim expressed the group's commitment to promoting the Tinubu administration's accomplishments, including advancements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth development, housing, and economic reforms. She highlighted specific projects such as road and rail improvements and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, which enhances access to higher education.

The group also supports reforms in the energy and petroleum sectors, emphasizing domestic refining capacity and alternative energy initiatives. Beyond advocating for government programs, the organization seeks to empower women to engage more actively in politics and national development, leveraging their influence within families and communities.
