ADC Concerned Atiku and Obi May Not Unite Against Tinubu for 2027 Presidency

The African Democrat Congress (ADC) expressed concerns that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi may not collaborate to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections. ADC spokesperson Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi cautioned against underestimating Atiku and Obi, describing them as a significant threat to Nigeria's democracy.

The ADC coalition is yet to decide on its 2027 presidential candidate, with speculations of a new opposition movement emerging in Abuja involving Obi, Atiku, and other political heavyweights.
