2027: Rep Oseni distances self from Oyo guber race report

Hon. Aderemi Abasi Oseni, the lawmaker representing Ibarapa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has distanced himself from a report by a group called Igba Otun urging Senator Teslim Folarin and Chief Adebayo Adelabu to step aside from the 2027 governorship race in Oyo State.

In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Idowu Ayodele, Oseni described the publication as false, malicious, and mischievous. He emphasized his respect for the APC leaders and condemned the attempt to blackmail him.

Oseni reiterated his focus on delivering effective representation to his constituents and working with party leaders to rebuild and reposition the APC in Oyo State. He urged party members and the public to disregard the purported statement from Igba Otun, dismissing the group as faceless mischief makers.
