Rhodes-Vivour Rejects Tinubu Alliance for Lagos Governorship

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, a former Labour Party governorship candidate in Lagos State, rules out aligning with Bola Tinubu's political structure to become the governor in 2027. Rhodes-Vivour emphasized focusing on improving the lives of Lagosians and restoring the state's former glory through independent efforts rather than aligning with Tinubu.

He criticized Tinubu for alleged political intimidation and emphasized the need to dismantle the perceived political hegemony in Lagos. Rhodes-Vivour, also known as GRV, accused Tinubu of benefiting from the state for the past two decades and advocated for a change in leadership to benefit the people of Lagos.
