Shettima Confirms APC VP Nomination to Tinubu for 2027

On Thursday, Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections, formally presented the confirmation of his nomination to Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House. This submission was officially confirmed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The event was shared on social media by Olusegun Dada, a special assistant to the president. Shettima's nomination as Tinubu's running mate was previously unveiled by the APC amid speculation regarding the possibility of Tinubu replacing Shettima with a northern Christian vice presidential candidate ahead of the elections.
